MCC and MCP Availability

The Production of MCC and MCP is currently paused because one of our premanufacturers has raised prices to an extend that we cannot continue the cooperation.

The solution is to transfer this part of the production to our own factories in Switzerland and Germany.

Currently our production team is busy implementing Polywarmtone and Lupex with MCC to follow.

Update 1.11.2020: Lupex is available again! Testruns for MCC are being undertaken in Bad Saarow.

We hope to be able to bring these emulsions to Switzerland under pandemic restrictions!

Update 15.9.2021: We sucessfully coated 700m2 in Switzerland. This “first flush” will be released in a special box soon.

Update 2022: Despite the fact that we are technically able to manufacture MCC, we had to pause the production of all photopapers due to price increases of energy, raw materials and wages. After adding it all up our production costs are higher than the market prices of our competitors who have much larger kettles and machines and are thus on a large-volume/low price- product more competitive. We will continue to improve our workflow and productivity. Until then, we focus on film only for the time being.
