ADOX Fine PrintŪ
Polywarmtone FB
True warmtone emulsion, variable contrast fibre based paper on 280g support.
glossy or matt.
Warmtone paper with true warmtone emulsion* featuring fine differentiated greytones and very crisp and brilliant image tones.
Coated on a new 280g oxygene bleached support the new ADOX Fine Print Polygrade Warmtone paper is even more brilliant than the predator Classic Polywarmtone.
This paper is among our best selling fine art papers the topseller. The image tone is dependant on the developer used. Neutral black developers shift it to slightly warm only while in true warmtone or sepia developers it looks almost like sepia toned. However the warmer you develop the paper the less dense (brown) the shaddows will come out. Usually we recomend a two dish development in which a warmtone developer is combined with a cold working one.
The paperīs emulsion is free of additional optical brighteners or incorporated developing substances thus making it suitable for alternative printing, two dish development and other processes. No fade out of optical brighteners over longer exposure to light.
Superb suitable for MLD/lith printing.
ISO paper speed: 60-80
Multigrade Filters: Ilford standard
Safelight: red only
Made in sizes from 10x15 / 5x7 up to rolls of 1,08 cm width.
* A true warmtone emulsion is producing a warm tone because of the ultrafine-structure of itīs silver halides. Other warmtone emulsions are regular sized neutral-tone papers to which simply brown dyes are added to give the desired tone. Only true warmtone emulsions can be controlled to a large extend by different developers. They are also lithable and very fine grained thus yielding the highest possible brilliance of images.
