1.7.2011: ADOX CMS 20 medium format films
This is the first product at all made in our new micro factory on our modified 120 spooling machine.
Currently we are upgrading the ADOTECH developer for CMS 20.
As soon as the new developer is available we will introduce CMS 20 120 film/developer packages.
The new ADOTECH enhances highlight separation with CMS 20 and surpresses streaking in large homogenous grey areas even better than the current version, making it suitable for 120 and sheetfilm development.

Welcome to the word of analogue photography
ADOX manufactures papers films and chemicals for traditional analogue photography since 1860 in Germany.
ADOX takes on the challenges of the new market for traditional photographic products by building the "smallest photochemical factory in the world" in Bad Saarow close to Berlin, Germany.
The small factory enables ADOX to continue to manufacture our traditional photographic products under changed market conditions in small lot sizes thus securing future supply.
Please follow this link to obtain more informations about the production stop at FOTOKEMIKA´s

1.2.2010: Rodinal is back
The last bottles of originally branded Rodinal are leaving our warehouse these days.
But don´t panic, the Rodinal recipes survived the AgfaPhoto desaster and the same people as before are brewing a soup for you which treats your films 100% identically as the content of a bottle which says Rodinal on the outside.
Thus ADONAL is not identical with our APH09 which is based on the original recipes from Wolfen.

1.10.2009: ATOMAL is called ATOMAL again
For years we sold ATOMAL F as ATM 49 or A 49. Only patent lawyers know why.
ATM 49 with it´s superior fine grainness and his extraordinary equalizing capacity soon became our best selling film developer.
Just in time for his 75th birthday we can now give him back his old name.
Good bye A49, hello ATOMAL 49 !

1.3.2009: MCC is back
Three years after the breakdown of Agfa in leverkusen the second vanished Agfa product has been brought back to live.
With the help of former Agfa scientists ADOX has managed to bring back a photopaper which is in any measurable parameter identical to the paper formerly known as Agfa Multicontrast Classic.
The only difference is the bright white 250g paper base now used increasing the paper´s brilliance.

15.9.2011: ADOTECH II Developer
The new ADOTECH II developer is specially formulated for the CMS 20 medium format 120 film emulsion. It enhances highlight differentiation and straightens the curve of CMS 20. Also it helps to avoid turbulence clouds making it the perfect choice for CMS 20 120 and sheet films.

20.4.2012: ADOX Art Baryta Paper
ADOX Art Baryta is a chemically neutral acid-free paper base with 190g/sqm weight coated with a pure white Bariumsulfate-emulsion. Especially stabilized for the use with photographic emulsions or alternative processes. Also suitable for a coating with aquaeus dyes or dyes dispersed in oil. The bariumsulfate-coating enables bright highlights and keeps the coating from difusing into the paper base yielding higher sharpness and less consumption of the coated media.
